I'm not sure they'd be patient enough to look up how to fix the problems (or even be aware they /were/ problems and not intentional level design choices), same with their parents. Still, if the game wasn't meant to be played at 60FPS, why give us the option.? Not to mention, the game might be aimed at people like me who grew up in the 90s but it's also for little kids too. These weird glitches were very very frustrating my first time playing through since I didn't know what was going on but they were easy to fix. When the game is set to 60FPS, the ledge is never lowered. Another well known glitch the ledge in Alpine Ridge that an enemy continuous moves up and down. When playing at 30FPS, they are a breeze to beat to the point where you end up lapping the other racers. For instance, the flight and speedway levels become significantly more difficult for whatever reason. I'm not sure why but the game has issues when you try playing at 60FPS and it never got patched. I'm not sure why but the game I absolutely adored this remake but it's still got a small handful of problems, especially the Steam version.
